CONSTRUCTION:
Our platforms are constructed using the highest quality material and workmanship possible. (These things are built as solid as a tank)
1 THE TOP- Clear finished North American 3/4" maple plywood is used to insure a beautiful playing surface that is uniform and solid, not unlike what you would find in a gym floor or on a bowling alley. We have found through years of woodworking experience that the cheaper foreign plywood will delaminate and twist over time making it unexcitable.
2 THE FRAME - Painted solid 5/4 clear hardwood poplar that has been painstakingly constructed to insure a long lasting support system. Each joint is glued, screwed and plugged so that the finished produce is both beautiful as well as sturdy. The frame is anchored to the top with no less than 18 exterior screws from underneath providing a superior attachment unseen from the top playing surface. The painted finish is high grade exterior gloss enamel that is applied in numerous coats to provide a smooth beautiful long lasting protective finish.
3 THE BAG STORAGE COMPARTMENT - A plywood platform compartment has been intergraded into the bottom of the frame to provide an area for storage of your cornhole bags.
4 THE FOLDING LEG ASSEMBLY - The leg assembly is constructed of 5/4 clear hardwood poplar that has also been selected for strength and beauty. This assembly is coated with a multi-coat clear lacquer finish.
It is anchored to the frame with high quality bolt, washer and nut system so that the complete leg assembly will fold nicely up into the frame for storage and transportation. The locking wing nut is a large brass and plastic piece to allow ease of use by all ages.
5 THE PLATFORM BOUNCE REDUCTION TECHNOLOGY - To assure that the board platform does not "bounce" or "walk" when placed on a hard surface like asphalt or concrete we have placed rubber feet at the front bottom of the frame. This along with the overall high quality mass of the platform will ensure a stable playing surface.
6 THE CANVAS STORAGE/CARRYING BAG - Each platform board comes with a separate canvas carrying case that will protect your game for many years. These bags have a nylon "D-ring" strap handle to allow you to transport the platforms easily.
7 THE CUSTOM LOGO - Each board has a custom designed full color vinyl decal to meet your specifications. These decals are printed on self adhesive vinyl and laminated with a clear protective sheet. They are the same as the decals on aircraft and will not tear, peel or scratch during normal use.
